What's the Reality on Jersey Shore? (Part One)
In honor of Sammi (Sweetheart) recently getting married and Ronnie NOT being in attendance, which is only appropriate, let’s do a deep dive on the iconic series that competed with other reality shows on Jerzday nights and would soon become a pop culture phenomenon, from tanned bodies to famous lingo like “DTF.”
Part 1 will explore the origins of Jersey Shore, from how the cast was selected to where everyone was from and their backgrounds, to even their salaries. In part 2, I will deep dive into the complicated relationships and dynamics on the show, leading to several spinoffs and life after the Jersey Shore.
